"The world is a book and those who do not travel only read one page."
"I wanted to create a platform that inspires women to live their best lives in business and opens them up to travel and all forms of movement and creative expression."
A mesh of most things exploratory and creative, I am a wanderlusty, globetrotting, wine-guzzling avid explorer. I am also tech-inspired, politically-wired and I like strong coffee. I am currently rooted in Brooklyn, New York but please check back and check the map to see where I pin next, as I like to stay on-the-go...
My passion for exploring, storytelling and creating compelling visual content sparked a desire in me to provide a hub for women and people of color to share their transformative travel experiences along with their creative and business expertise. During a time of steady technological innovation that has driven tremendous entrepreneurialism and global flux, it has become my mission to remain focused on service. For me, this has grown to include helping to inspire women and people of color (mainly those ages 35 and up), who have acquired a certain set of skills, achieved a fair degree of professional success and real world savvy, to live their best lives. To me, this means that we collectively embrace our creative geniuses, blend that with a dash of digital nomadism and become the next generation of multifaceted, multilingual, multicolored global entrepreneurs.
We must all strive to live bolder and better lives. Lives that never stagnate; at least not for too long. That said, let's continue to create and RECREATE ourselves and DISCOVER new paths along the way. It is this desire for creativity and movement that drove me to start Creative Direction.
It is my sincere hope that this platform will provide inspiration and serve as a catalyst for anyone choosing to live her life with a renewed sense of purpose and direction. Together, let’s journey forward and create direction —> #onward
A quick note. Recently, I talked about my career journey, female entrepreneurship and how important it is to be 'in the moment’ and trust your own unique path on The Career Passport podcast. For me, finding yourself through art and media, travel and cultural immersion is key. I was excited to talk about my new digital media and travel platform, Creative Direction, which seeks to help female entrepreneurs create direction in their lives by giving them the tips, tools and inspiration to travel abroad and expand their businesses and brands across the globe.
